The International  Dialogue and Development Alliance held an online zoom conference on November 20, 2020. Opening the conference, the chairman of the International Dialogue and Development Alliance, PhD in History Nushaba Mammadova congratulated the conference participants on the historic victory of Azerbaijan. In his speech, she said that under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has won a resounding victory in this war, and our lands have been liberated from occupation. In just 44 days, Armenia’s invincibility syndrome was completely eradicated. During this period, about 300 villages, 5 cities, 4 settlements, numerous strategic heights were liberated. Azerbaijan brought Armenia to its knees, liberating the pearl of Nagorno-Karabakh, Shusha, followed by more than 70 villages and 8 strategic heights in one day. The victories on the battlefield also led to victory in the political arena. For 30 years, Armenia has not been able to achieve what it wanted to achieve in the negotiation process, and the issue of determining the status of Nagorno-Karabakh has been eliminated once and for all. All regions of Karabakh, like our other regions, are an integral part of Azerbaijan. The large regions of Kalbajar, Aghdam and Lachin are returned without martyrdom or bloodshed. Azerbaijan has achieved what it wants both on the battlefield and at the negotiating table. The opening of a transport corridor from Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan is of great strategic importance, ”Nushaba Mammadova said. She also noted that in connection with Armenia’s aggressive policy against Azerbaijan, the International Alliance for Dialogue and Development has 10 areas, including the placement of families and mercenaries from Syria and Libya in the occupied Azerbaijani lands, military provocations in the direction of Tovuz and its international threat. ballistic missile targeting of civilians at a distance, killing of about 100 civilians as a result of rockets and shells fired at Ganja, Barda and other areas, injuring more than 400 civilians, destruction of civil infrastructure at more than 200 addresses, including international Information, statements and appeals were made to organizations, PACE members of parliament, US senators, members of the OSCE Parliament and foreign government agencies.
