The International Dialogue and Development Alliance has issued a statement on July 14, 2020. The International Alliance for Dialogue and Development issued a statement on July 14, 2020. The statement came from the chairwoman of the International Dialogue and Development Alliance Nushaba Mammadova. He noted that the statement was addressed to US White House representatives, senates, OSCE PA members, PACE members, UN Secretary-General, NATO members, and other international organizations.

The statement reads:

Starting from July 12, 2020, the Armenian armed forces continue provocations along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the direction of Tovuz. This is another proof that official Yerevan is not interested in resolving the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict through negotiations. Armenia fires on civilians on the border with Azerbaijan. Children, women are elderly people are in danger. For more than 25 years, Armenia has ignored UN Security Council resolutions and the calls of the OSCE Minsk Group and other international organizations.

As the International Dialogue and Development Alliance, we alert the US legislature, the UN Security Council, the OSCE Minsk Group, PACE, and the entire world community about the growing aggression in the Tovuz region of Azerbaijan. We call on the world powers and international organizations to put an end to the Armenian arbitrariness and occupation.

İt is about 30 years Azerbaijan faced with the military aggression of the Armenian occupiers, ethnic cleansing policy against Azerbaijanis, and the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh problem. As a result of the expansion of the military aggression against Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh, which is an integral part of our country and seven adjacent regions – Lachin, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Gubadli, and Zangilan were occupied. As a result of Armenia’s ethnic cleansing policy, 20,000 Azerbaijani citizens were killed and 20% of our lands were occupied, over one million and two hundred thousand people had to leave their homes, hundreds of people were captured and taken hostages.

Stop Armenian Violence! Stop Armenian Occupation!
